MISS 9JA™ Requirements

One simple set of rules. Open to every Nigerian woman who meets them.

VOTING IS COMPLETELY FREE. NO PAID VOTES. THE CROWN DECIDES.

  • Nigerian citizen
    You must hold Nigerian citizenship.
  • Female
    Open to women only.
  • Age 18 to 28
    Both ages inclusive, as of the pageant year.
  • Marital status — open
    Single, engaged, or married — all welcome.
  • Minimum height 5'5" (165 cm)
    Measured at physical verification.
  • No prior pageant experience needed
    First-timers are welcome and encouraged.
  • Physical verification if Top 10
    If selected to your State Top 10, you must attend in-person verification.

What happens after you apply

  1. 01Digital audition — board review.
  2. 02State voting — Nigerians vote for free. NO PAID VOTES. THE CROWN DECIDES.
  3. 03State Top 10 — physical verification (height, communication, confidence).
  4. 0437 State Queens — represent your state.
  5. 05National finale in Abuja.
